How Sealcoating Protects Your Driveway

When to Schedule Sealcoating

The best time to get your driveway sealed is when the weather is warm and dry, typically during late spring and summer. We’ll work with you to schedule your sealcoating project for a time when you can avoid walking or driving on your driveway for at least 24-48 hours while the sealant dries.

What to Expect

Before we seal your driveway with high-quality, commercial-grade sealant, we’ll clear it of dust, dirt, and loose debris. Next, we will repair any cracks or potholes. Finally, we will apply the sealant by hand.

We use special equipment to seal cracks less than one inch wide with hot rubber, the industry standard for cracks of that size. This prevents moisture from causing further deterioration. For larger cracks, we may recommend the use of a pavement preservation product like mastic or suggest an infrared repair.
